We offer effective, evidence-based workshops and coaching to help people perform and cope more effectively under pressure.

What We Do

LPP Consulting offers full day, half day and 90 minute workshops which help participants to increase their resilience.

Through our 1:1 coaching services we help individuals to build their own resilience by understanding and tackling the root causes of behaviour which undermine performance and wellbeing.

We also offer personalised sleep workshops and treatment services for those who are already suffering from anxiety, stress and burnout.

Building Individual Resilience Workshop

We help people to build resilience so they can bounce back from setbacks and perform more effectively under pressure.

Background

Stress and pressure are constants in today's workplace and significant factors in absenteeism, presenteeism and lack of engagement.

Learning how to deal with stress and pressure is therefore increasingly important in this fast-changing world. LPP's flagship workshop uses the latest in cognitive behavioural therapy to help participants work sustainably at an optimal level and recover effectively from stressful situations.

Session Outline

This workshop equips participants with the skills and techniques to manage stress and pressure more effectively. In particular:

  • How the human mind functions under pressure
  • What resilience is and what it isn't
  • Stress: the downside of pressure
  • A 4-Point Plan to develop resilience and performance under pressure
  • All participants are individually screened before and after the course to ensure that tailored action plans are taken away
  • All participants have access to best practice materials and exercises to embed learning

Applicable to both leaders and front line staff, we show people how to work sustainably at an optimal level, deal with pressure and recover from setbacks.

Our resilience workshops are available in either a full or half day workshop, or 90 minute workout.

Coaching for Resilience

Our Coaching for Resilience Services help people cope with, and respond effectively to high pressure situations.

Background

LPP's Coaching for Resilience Services help people cope with, and respond effectively to, stressful periods or crisis situations.

Our Coaching is time-limited, goal-directed and focused on optimising performance under pressure. Our coaches are experts in cognitive behavioural coaching (CBC) which emphasises that how we react to events is largely determined by our views of them, not by the events themselves.

We help individuals to proactively build their resilience by understanding and dealing with the root causes of behaviour which undermine performance and wellbeing. By examining and re-evaluating some of our less helpful views we can develop and try out alternative viewpoints and behaviours that may be more effective in terms of performance, health-related behaviours and resilience.

Outline of our Services

LPP offers short term coaching processes (2-6 individual sessions) in 90 minute sessions.

We often use existing information such as 360° feedback or formal appraisal information as part of the intervention plan to help clients establish specific outcome goals to work towards.

Sleep Workshop

Helping people to sleep.

Background

25 years ago most of us slept more than we worked. On average, we would sleep around 8 hours and work for around 7.5 hours per day. Since then, the rate for work hours has steadily risen and sleep hours steadily fallen. Collectively, we are running a sleep deficit at work, which not only harms our enjoyment of life but our long-term health and productivity.

Trouble is, sleep is not one of those problems which can be fixed by trying harder. We all know the problem of wanting to get to sleep but not being able to... so what can we do about it?

Outcomes and Benefits

This workshop aims to teach your employees how to:

  • Wake up feeling refreshed and energised after sleep
  • Switch off their minds at night
  • Fall to sleep when their head hits the pillow
  • Fall back to sleep if they wake early
  • Overcome the "Sunday Night – No Sleep" effect
  • Sleep well when travelling and overcome Jet Lag
  • Overcome insomnia and other sleep disorders
  • Work in a way that promotes long term good sleep and health

This workshop can be run either as a 90 minute or half day workshop designed for up to 20 participants.

The workshops are informative, fun and flexible events that can be tailored to suit your employee needs. We can offer 1-on-1 consultations (30 mins to 1 hr per employee) and / or group seminars.

All employees receive an informative workshop booklet detailing all tools and techniques discussed and practised.
