Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT, said as a single word) is a modern form of behaviour therapy centred around increasing psychological flexibility through particular core processes including: acceptance, committed action, values and connection with the present moment.
The central component of increasing psychological flexibility has been shown to predict various forms of employee mental health, stress levels and work performance. Further, psychologically flexible people are more able to identify and pursue values and goals as well as be mindful of unwanted thoughts.
